Weddings and events
Charm and exclusivity, and also the proximity of the historical city of Paraty are good reasons to choose Picinguaba to hold a wedding or an event, such as an anniversary or a reunion of old friends. We take care of the entire logistics to organize everything for you, from the church ceremony in Paraty (or in Picinguaba) to the consular formalities, the dinner event, a band for the reception in the Pousada, transport for everybody.
The hotel is exclusively yours for the event, with a minimum stay of 5 days and a maximum of 40 to 45 guests. It is what we call a wedding week, all our spaces, our staff, our restaurant, our boat, our vehicles, everything is at your disposal. No other reservations are accepted during that time, this is the exclusivity principle, for which we do not charge anything extra, above the regular price of accommodation.
The wedding can be held in one of the churches of the region, of which there are many, ranging from charming and romantic to impressive; we can adapt the type of ceremony or reception to your form of religion and choice of venue.
The capacity of the hotel is 20 to 24 in double rooms (counting 4 extra beds for children), and more modest accommodation can be found in the village for another 20 or so. The remainder of the guests can stay in hotels in Paraty, 25 minutes away. We can arrange reservations and transport.
Pousada Picinguaba is the perfect setting not only for the wedding party, but also for the newly weds, their families and friends to relax after the event and enjoy some time together after the wedding.
With regards to the weather, the best time to organize a wedding or an event in Picinguaba is May-June-July.
