Combined Rio-Picinguaba trip (11 nights)
If you have 10 days or so, this is the ideal combination, at any time of the year. This package proposes a great variety of activities and you see a large slice of the best of the country, without having to use domestic flights, thus optimizing your holiday time and budget.
It combines 8 nights in Picinguaba and 3 nights in Rio, spent either as you fly into the country or as you leave.
In Rio you can chose between two guest houses that we recommend, one charming, the other luxury. The hosts/owners will receive you personally and help you find your way around the city.
We recommend landing in São Paulo, where our chauffeur will pick you up and bring you straight to Picinguaba, for your 8-day stay. Then you go to Rio, either by road with our chauffeur or by helicopter. (One of our partner hotels actually has a helicopter landing pad on the roof). You can then fly out from Rio.
Note on flights: private flights you may request can be arranged in advance, and are paid locally directly to the operator in Brazil. If weather conditions do not allow flying, a road transfer will be arranged.
COMBINED TRIP PACKAGE: 8 nights in Picinguaba + 2 activities + 3 nights in Rio, including:
- Return transfers from and to Rio or São Paulo in private car.
- 8 nights in double room (twin available) in Pousada Picinguaba.

Option 2: Combined trip, Exclusive: Our unique Honeymoon Suite in Picinguaba, and in Rio, you stay in a stunning designer's house, superbly appointed and yet cosy, on a hill overlooking the city of Rio, with a full view of the sea, close to the exclusive beach of Joatinga, 15 minutes away from Ipanema:
